Distortion-free wide angle vision
While almost all of existing Infrared lens with wide field of view have pronounced barrel distortion often giving a rise to misrepresentation of real world (it's known to give distractions, migraine and nauseating experiences to many operators hindering long and critical operations), TOPINS wide field of view lens module has essentially no distortion (<2%). This allows camera manufacturers to design most natural thermal imaging systems with TOPINS wide angle lenses.

Motorless design
In addition, Infrared lens modules are prone to focus variations due to changes in the index of refraction caused by temperature differences, and hence need of driving motor to focus readjustments. However, TOPINS lens modules can optically compensate the changes in the index of refraction, making the lens modules mechanically robust, solidly built and technically advanced device for military and industrial applications.
